Gerard
Gonzales,
Principal Consultant
Gerard
has acquired extensive international hotel, resort and restaurant
management experience over the last 30 years. Prior to forming G&A, he
held senior management positions as general manager, managing director,
vice-president, financial controller, internal auditor and administrator in
various hotel, resort and restaurant properties in the USA, Indonesia,
Malaysia and Singapore.
Gerard
holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in accountancy. In 1989, he attained
the title of Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), the highest designation
awarded to hotel general managers by the Educational Institute of the American Hotel
& Lodging Association.
He
is Adjunct Associate Professor at the Nanyang
Business School and the Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality
Management, Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore where he teaches in the undergraduate business and MBA & MMH
programs. He is also active in executive education and conducts workshops
for the Nanyang Business School's Executive Programme and the
Cornell-Nanyang Institute's Professional Development Programme.

Arthur Soh,
Senior Consultant
Arthur
has been in the project management and property development field for over
20 years. He has completed many residential, commercial and hospitality
projects on both the builder and owner/consultant sides in China,
Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Arthur has conducted studies of
transportation and infrastructure projects in Indonesia, the Philippines
and Malaysia.
Arthur
holds an MBA in hospitality & tourism management, a bachelor's degree
and a Masters of Science in civil engineering. He is a member of the
Institution of Engineers and Society of Project Managers, Singapore.
Arthur
has taught marketing and hospitality management courses on a part time
basis at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University
since 1996. He has also lectured and tutored in management and technology
subjects at Singapore
Institute of Management's open university programmes.

Eric Lim
Senior Consultant
Eric
Lim has been in the hotel industry for more than 25 years and has held
several senior management positions in chain and independent hospitality
organizations situated in Singapore, Hong Kong and China. He held various
portfolios encompassing business development, marketing strategy,
reservations/rooms operation, people management, sales, account management
and marketing communications relating to a wide range of traditional as
well as e-businesses.
Eric
is particularly adept at corporate & leisure sales, brand management,
pricing strategies, market positioning, product launches, advertising &
promotions, direct marketing e-communications and hotel openings.
Eric
holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a graduate diploma
in marketing management. He has completed several professional courses including
the NUS-Cornell Hospitality Program for Senior Executives, Dale Carnegie
Management Presentation Course, Management Appraisal Program and Holiday
Inn University’s Mastering Global Sales Programme.

Jessica
Liew
Consultant
Jessica
graduated in 1988 with a bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant
management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona,
California, USA. She was actively involved with various lodging properties
in the USA and Malaysia including the Four Seasons Hotel in Newport Beach,
the Inn at the Park & Hotel Ibis in Anaheim, and the Marco Polo Hotel
in Sabah, Malaysia before joining G&A in 1990.
Her
areas of specialization are concept development, strategic marketing, and
market research and audits.
